You’ve been waiting patiently and here it is! Part 3 of SEO 101!
Heading Tags
An H1 tag is the header tag situated in the body of a website (H1), and it is an important part of optimization. If it is used in proper co-ordination with anchor text and title tags then one can even expect increased density of website.
Formatting Header Tags
Example H1 - <h1>important title that includes keywords</h1>
Be sure to incorporate your styling to the Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) rather than using In-line.
In-line Example - < h1 style=”font-size: 14px; color: red;”>
What to add to your Heading Tag
Employ keywords but make it an appropriate title (short and descriptive of the web page’s content).
Make it consistent with the keywords used in your page (browser) title, web page URL, and web copy.
