ROLE: INFORMATION ARCHITECT, FREELANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define structures, navigation and experience that serves as a blueprint for the entire project

Contribute to brainstorming user experience extending thorough multiple mediums including web, mobile or desktop application

Creating common IA deliverables such as wireframes, interface prototypes, personas, user flows, case studies, feature lists and scenarios, maintaining an IA template library

Providing thoughtful, objective critique in a collaborative environment

Developing and performing competitive analysis, site and content audits, heuristic evaluations, documenting best practices

Research and documentation of functional specifications with creative and technology

QUALIFICATIONS

3 plus years of experience designing and developing technical front and back end web properties

Familiarity with SEO/SEM/Affiliate marketing technology

Strategic thinker with strong analytic skills and problem solving ability

Strong technical writing and communication skills

Detailed knowledge of cross-platform and browser compatibility issues

Command of modeling and prototyping tools such as Visio, HTML/JavaScript, Omnigraffle, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and/or Illustrator

Knowledge in developing for mobile web a plus (WAP 2.0, BREW, xHTML MP etc.)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
