Adding Great Experience to Our Growing Team
We’d like to give a warm welcome to the newest member of the JAR Group team, Affiliate Marketing Maven, Donna McCarthy! Donna was born and raised in South Jersey and later attended Long Island University/C.W. Post, where she majored in Communications Arts. She began her marketing career at Comcast Cable, where she worked for 6 years before moving on to JP Morgan Chase (formerly Bank One, formerly First USA). There, she got her first taste for affiliate marketing and never looked back.
When she’s not working the room at Affiliate Summit or the Linkshare Symposium (Announcing her joining us definitely turned some heads at this week’s Linkshare event!), her favorite hobbies are reading, tap dancing and watching NASCAR (she’s an and avid fan and attends one race every year, minimum). She’s also Co-Cheerleading coach at her daughters’ high school, was just elected Secretary of the PTA, and volunteers with the children’s church and summer VBS programs.
While she was runner up for this year’s LinkShare’s Best Communication Strategy award, she was previously the recipient of LinkShare’s Best Overall Distribution Strategy and LinkShare’s Deal Make Merchant Awards, but even more impressively her most recent accomplishment occurred two weeks ago when she donated 10 inches of hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a program which is partnered with the American Cancer Society to make wigs for cancer patients.
We look forward to bringing her 15 years of marketing experience to our growing affiliate offering and most importantly having her humor and energy as part of the entire team.
So expect to see some post from her soon (I hope we get some pictures of her in the Harry Potter costume she was wearing recently up on the site.).
