Steve Troy
Steve is an independent consultant and investor based in New York, NY. He advises The JAR Group on matters relating to corporate strategy, business development and operations. Most recently, Steve was an Executive in Residence at CP Baker & Company, Ltd., the principal manager of the Anasazi Funds, a family of private equity funds focused on early stage and middle market companies. At CP Baker, Steve worked with a variety of different portfolio companies including FiNet.com, an internet-based mortgage banking company, Tulga Games, an internet game developer and American Entertainment Holding Company which represents the rights of numerous author’s estates.
Steve has served as a business development director at Qualcomm Inc. and a predecessor joint venture owned by Qualcomm and Microsoft.
Steve also is an active investor primarily in real estate and new media businesses. Steve began his career as a corporate attorney. He holds a JD and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and an AB degree from Harvard College.
